RSVP aims to provide complementary care and support services in partnership with health or social care professionals and other voluntary agencies and organisations.

Over 2500 RSVP volunteers in local projects can offer one or some of the following services:

Patient transport schemes for people of restricted mobility/disabled for doctor's surgery/hospital appointments
Practical support for sick, frail and/or vulnerable people by e.g. collecting prescriptions, help with form filling, running social clubs etc.
Befriending the socially/geographically isolated both n person and by telephone
Assist with non-medical tasks in G.P. surgeries, hospitals, and other residential institutions
Healthy Walking groups

Other volunteer roles/projects can include gardening, DIY, home security and long term support for hospital in-patients.
